New research from The National Landlord Investment Show has indicated that the residential property market is continuing to show signs of improvement, with renewed investor confidence in the sector.

Out of the landlords that attended the buy-to-let exhibition 60% were looking to add to their portfolios in 2020. Of these landlords:​

54% were planning to invest in property for a pension

27% were investing for their children’s future

71% intended to invest in residential property

75% do not own their properties within a Ltd Company

23% also own commercial property as well as residential
